Water Well Story

On Friday, December 12, 2014, Wil-Co Drilling Company with Aaron Wilson began the process of drilling the water well, continuing on 12/13/’14.

Wet ground and steep slope made the positioning of the trucks challenging.

And, WATER!!!!!

Cost of this project to date—$5672.00

After the well was capped some workers had to go back to get some equipment and said that the well was running.  A small trench was dug to divert the flow away from the building site.  It stopped flowing durning the winter and into the spring.  It began flowing again with the rains...this is called a flowing artesian well.  The water is good but care has to be taken to divert the water away from the pipe...it will require a pitless adapter.

December, 2015, after the mid month rains, the well was once again flowing...

December 29, 2015, after the flood...lots of water flowing but the well cap was not breached!

April 15, 2016

The overflow water from our sometimes flowing artesian well has now been diverted to Dry Creek!
