Our cabin in the woods is our home. We have worked hard to bring it to life for ourselves, our family and our friends. We hope you enjoy your time here and leave with a sense of peace and joy.
This endeavor has taken lots of time and thought. We have made an environmentally friendly place where all of us can enjoy nature.

Welcome to Riversong Cabin
.Description of Riversong Cabin
Riversong Cabin is located on the Niangua River in Missouri about 5 miles by river and 10 miles by road from Bennett Springs State Park. The cabin was dreamed of by Papi and built in 2015-2017 by Deryl Osborn Construction. It has 3 1/2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It sleeps about 10 people comfortably and far more if sleeping bags on the floor suit. The building’s power comes from solar power supplemented by a propane gas generator. It has its own well and pump and a septic system. Heating is provided by in floor Radiantec (water pipe) heat and a woodstove. While there is a washer and dryer and dishwasher, due to the fluctuating power situation these luxuries should be used minimally and at times when there is plenty of sunshine. There is no TV or internet service and cell service is spotty. It generally is better on the front deck.
