For Your SAFETY

There is a fire escape ladder in each of the two upstairs bedrooms.  Please locate them and familiarize yourselves with them.  Note that they are rather heavy and a small child probably could not use it without help.

A fire extinguisher is located in the cabinet to the right of the frig.

The woodburning stove gets quite hot...keep little ones away when it is in use.

Woodpiles are notoriously unstable...keep kids away!

Please Make Note of Where the Shut Off Valves are located: (Pictures are on the Maintenence Page)

Parking:

There is room for 2 cars under the house.

Other parking is available in the pullouts along the river road.

French Doors to the screened porch:

Second car can fit to the left of the car shown.  Tight squeeze...be careful of trees and deck posts!

Left French door (from inside) has bolts that reach into the ceiling and floor.  In order to lock and unlock them the right door must be open.  On the edge of the door are two slides.  One for the top and one for the bottom.  They are not easy to move.  The round knob must be in the vertical (unlocked) position in order to lock or unlock the slides.  This bottom picture shows the unlocked position.
